Founded in 1999, Glenn Underwater Services started providing a niche service to utility companies, underwater inspection and repair. Since then, we have expanded our capacity to provide services to other industries, above and below the waterline. Throughout we have always focused on safety first while specializing in responding to challenging situations with environmentally friendly solutions; all based on the use of knowledge gained from decades of experience and the use of leading edge technology and methodologies.
As a result, we have delivered on inspection, restoration and construction contracts to a variety of industries in the United States, throughout South America, Africa, the Middle East, and China. Our domestic and international work has set industry standards for development of innovative, cost-effective solutions for inspection and repair.
Our personnel have been provided opportunities to hone their ability to think creatively under tight deadlines on projects that are ever-evolving.
We operate collaboratively with our clients to solve problems and ensure contracts are safely completed in a timely fashion. An outcome of this company practice was the development of patented remote inspection and repair systems that have increased efficiency and improved safety for installation personnel.
Attention to safety is key to our success. Glenn Underwater Services operates extensive in-house safety training programs using respected industry professionals. These experts are part of our core administrative staff and are tasked with maintaining certifications, expanding each team member’s knowledge of OSHA regulations and skill in implementing safety procedures. The success of our safety programs has led to requests from other contractors to provide training on confined space and boat rescue.
